Last week had turned out to be one of the happiest weeks in my life because of the unforgettable trip in Egypt. A great trip always gives me wonderfully new experience which will broaden my horizon. That's why I am so excited about it.

 

Since there's no direct flight from BeiJing to Cairo, we made a transfer in the capital of Qatar-Doha. After totally 16 hours "suffering", we finally got the first destination in Egypt-Luxor, a city which Nile River runs through. Luxor is famous for its archaic temples and tombs. Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, Al-Deir Al-Bahari Temple and The Valley of Kings vividly told us how great the old Egyptian civilization can be. The spectacularity and grandiosity of those architectures and statues deeply impressed me. I could not help admiring old Egyptians, because only with great wisdom and effort can they made those miracles.

 

After travelling around Luxor, we headed for another city called Hurghada,which is a city off the coast of Red Sea. A lot of resorts are built there, since many Europeans love to choose this place for a relaxing holiday. Although there's no famous relic here, the beauty of Red Sea and the comfort of the resorts still strongly fascinate travellers.Also it should be mentioned that we got a lot of fun during the ferry tour on the Red Sea.

 

The third destination is Cairo-the capital of Egypt. The world-famous Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx are also here.  I am sure you will feel yourself just a tiny man if you have the chance to stand at the bottom of the Pyramids and Sphinx. These splendid wonders are really imposing and breath-taking. I cannot precisely describe my feelings about Pyramids and Sphinx using my poor English.  You guys should go and see them by yourselves one day. While stepping onto the pyramids, I felt that I am getting closer to that mysterious old Egyptian Era- a time when the kings believe that the pyramid can pave a safe road for them to send their souls to heaven.

 

Another impressing place in Cairo is The Egyptian Museum.  Looking at the relics there is just like learing an encyclopaedia of old Egypt. After spending some time in Museum , a picture of the flourish old Egyptian Kingdom has become clear in my mind. Also I finally saw the golden coffin and golden mask of the king. More importantly , 20 plus pieces of  Mummies are exhibited in the museum. Although those corpses have gone through thousands of years, muscle, hair and nail can still be clearly recognized. So amazing~~ isn't it?

 

Oh, btw,our night ferry tour on the Nile River is also a joyful memory, hehe

 

The last destination of this trip is Alexandra, the port city of Egypt off the coast of Mediterranean Sea. Due to the special location of this city, some Grecian and Roman Architectures can be found here. I have to say that it is a city with European style,but not a typical Egyptian city. In Alexandra, we went to Amud El-Sawari and Kom El-Shuqafa Monuments. However, the most exciting place is of course the shore of Mediterranean Sea.You can totally immerse yourself into the world comprised of  blue sky and ceruclean seawater.

 

It is my trip to Egypt, a trip filled with pleasant surprise and happiness.

 

Ps:Special expericence- fly from Tian Jin to Bei Jing

On our way back to BeiJing, due to weather reason (storm), Bei Jing Capital Airport was closed. So our plane had to redirect and land in Tian Jin Airport. At first we were very happy about it as we thought we could went home directly and easily . However, it turned out to be that everybody waited in the plane for three more hours and then the plane flied from Tian Jin back to Bei Jing again. hehe., have you ever experienced taking a plane from Tian Jin to Bei Jing?  Right after taking off the plane started preparing landing. Strange feeling and precious chance,xixi~~
